About Our Occupational Therapy Services
myAbility is a Melbourne based Allied Health Practice that specialises in adult Occupational Therapy, servicing participants funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
We work collaboratively with participants and their supports to provide capacity building services that are tailored to individual needs within the Improved Daily Living domain. At myAbility, we approach all problems and challenges with a 'can do' attitude whilst communicating openly and honestly.
Our service implements therapy interventions with the aid of the participant’s team of supports including Therapy Assistants, Support Workers and their families. We aim to provide face to face services to clients within a 30-minute radius of either Heathmont or Park Orchards in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Telehealth services are also available for clients Australia wide.
The focus of interventions at myAbility centres around assessment and intervention for optimising independence in the area of life skills.
